My New Found Passion.. (or so it seems)

I've been amazed with the photographs that people produce with their slr cameras. I was given a Pentax zx-50, an older version of an slr that is not digital. It runs on old fashion batteries and it uses film. It's a good start. I can at least get used to manually adjusting the settings and stuff. I don't know if photography is my thing. I guess I'll have to hope that it works out for me.
